Dealing with the health care system and my father-in-law's illnesses, I'm amazed and horrified by how poorly this country treats it's older citizens. You may be too young to have experiences with this.
sandi, my best friend and her sister are nurses. and my youngest daughter was in a car accident less than two years ago. i have had second-hand and first hand bad experiences with the health care system. it is definitely a topic that needs repeated addresses. thanks!
Hey I think the Presidential election would be right up my alley.....I live in a very "red" state and of course it will go to the republican...Pennsylvania is a swing state so it would be interesting which way they or you are leaning this election......that is my vote. :)Nik

nikki & spades, actually i DON'T discuss politics. i've only added my two cents on previous occasions of late. but i am willing to discuss this political race because of its historic implications and the HOT-BUTTON topic of RACE.

Since you brought up the elections, I'll give you a bit of added ammo... I'm sure you've heard some people are voting for Hillary just because she's a woman.
I received an email the other day from an aquaintance stating she chooses her candidate based on their sexual appeal. Her words: I am my own leader. The President should just be eye candy.

barrie, yes, there are a number of tv shows that i definitely hate. i may write on a few. as for hating any books- BLASPHEMY! though there are books that are not so great, i could never use the word hate and book in one sentence. i am a writer, afterall. ;)
